Wroclaw Agile User Group
Our mission
Wroclaw Agile User Group is an interdisciplinary collaboration of researchers and practicioners working on research activities that would be difficult to develop under traditional funding mechanisms. The lifespan of the WAUG can last anywhere between a few months and several years. Our goal is to make agile more clear to everybody. The WAUG assemble experts (and future experts) on a Agile topic together for intensive work. It is not an avenue for briefing novices about the subject matter. Occasionally, a group might admit a person with little experience and a lot of enthusiasm. However, such participants should be present as observers and in the minority. WAUG are also referred to as task groups or technical advisory groups.
Proposed topics:
1/ Agile&Scrum introduction based on Tool project
2/ Scrum and XP from the Trenches
3/ Refactoring. Improving the design of existing code
4/ Test Driven Development in Practice based on "Pragmatic Unit Testing in Java with JUnit" by Andrew Hunt&David Thomas.
Place and schedule of our meetings will be delivered till E03.
We are trying to become member of Agile Alliance.
